Vanilla Glaze for Pastries & Other Desserts

Ingredients

2 Cups Confectioners Sugar

3 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter, melted

4-5 Tbsp. Whole Milk

2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

 

Steps

1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once fully melted, remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

2. Into a medium-sized bowl, sift the confectioners sugar to remove any large clumps.

3. Pour the melted butter, milk, and vanilla, (vanilla can be omitted to make a plain sugar glaze), over the sugar and stir until smooth and fully combined.

4. If you want the glaze to be thinner, add more milk little by little until you reach the desired consistency.

5. Use for whatever pastry or dessert item you choose!
